The Project

We fell in love with Tuscany while visiting Ian. He was our Realtor in PA and helped us find a truly unique property. He did it again in Tuscany, finding us a hidden farmhouse with two barns on 17 HA. The renovation is on course to be finished with Antony and Venari SRL's tireless management and their local artisan contractors.

The Project

We met Ian as neighbors where we were renting and described our dream home over drinks. Even showed him a picture of the area near historic Siena we were visiting the year before. Within days, he found us an apartment IN THE PICTURE, below budget. And we bought it! Bright, renovated and a yard for our beloved dog. In shock and awe it happened so fast.

The Project

"Ian did a targeted search for us in the lakeside town of Desenzano del Garda. After first finding the home and putting it on a short list of homes we liked, it subsequently went under contract, so we continued our search and considered changing strategy more than once. However, Ian informed us a short time later that the home we originally found was back on the market. So, we got a second 'bite of the apple' and after a brief negotiation, we secured the property. We appreciated Ian's patience with us as we continued to work through the process. Our situation was complicated due to the type of immigration process we decided on. Besides locating the property, the critical parts of ItalDwell's service was their help in getting the purchase done following the Italian real estate acquisition process, finding an Italian Bank to do the financing, and then following up with the required information we needed to get our immigration process completed. Ian and Antony coordinated service beyond the sale setting up our utilities and helping us find local people here to watch our home while away giving us piece of mind that we weren't 'doing everything ourselves'. For anyone not familiar with Italian home purchases, I strongly recommend letting Ian and his team help with all the steps along the way."
